1. Slow Internet Connection
The first thing that affects the live stream is the internet connection from the user side.
If the internet is slow then it makes it difficult for a person to go live continuously.
And if the broadcast is not running on a track with the internet then Clapper will automatically cut off the connection.
You might have seen someone’s stream that frequently breaks like one time it runs smoothly and the other time stuck in the middle.
Besides, a slow Wi-Fi network in your device from your side as a viewer also causes the same issue.
Therefore, do check your internet on other platforms to confirm whether the issue is from your side or the creator.

2. Clapper App is Unavailable
Currently, the Clapper app is only available in 44 countries only.
If you want to use Clapper outside these available countries then you have to use VPN on your phone.
Since using VPN is not the best solution over a restricted app all the time so it can affect live telecasts.
In other words, VPN might work sometimes and can fail other times depending on your luck.
If VPN is not working on Clapper then change the location and try again.
3. LiveStream is Paused
When Clapper live video chat not working then it might be in pause mode.
Creators can pause and resume their stream anytime they want.
If you have something important thing to do all of a sudden then simply hold your stream and start doing that work.
In rare case scenarios, Clapper can also show live is unavailable at the moment to the audience.
4. Accessing Old Live
When your followers start their broadcast you will get a notification in your account inbox.
There you can find the user profile that was live along with the time when the live was started.
Now, if you try to join the stream from the notification then there is a high chance you will see a ‘live temporarily unavailable’ error.
That’s because the live broadcast might have already ended and you are trying to join the old stream.
In this case, I will first check the time when the live was started.
If the live notification is older than 1 hour then I will move back to the home screen and then search for streams if there is one or not.

5. User Live is Private
People can set their stream from public to private too if it’s too personal and only selected people can join it.
If the broadcast is already private or locked, you can’t join it unless you ask for permission.
So, if the Clapper app and its telecast not working then check whether a stream is private or not.

The first thing I would do if I can’t join someone’s live or it’s unavailable is to check my Wi-Fi connection on my device.
If the internet is working fine then I will simply restart the Clapper app and clear its cache.

Moreover, check whether that person has blocked you on Clapper or not by searching their account or profile.
If someone blocks you then their stream will not be ready to view.
Besides, you can also join other people live until the unavailable stream is active.
